While the firm remains named after the three founding principles, Grant Crossman, Wayne Whitney, and Dick Griffin, nobody would argue that most of the firm’s rich history that has now spanned over six decades, is the result of the dedication and hard work of these four gentlemen. Through the leadership of Ray Johnson, James Brown, John Palmquist and later William Butler, they would become the cornerstones of Helena’s oldest architectural firm. They would also become common community names and community leaders for their generous service to Helena.
