Kitchens are truly the hub of the home. While generally used for the primary function of preparing meals, they also serve as multi-purpose spaces within the home. Kitchens are social spaces, storage spaces, workspaces, craft spaces, and family gathering spaces. They need to be versatile so they can adapt to the needs of the users as those needs change through the day.

When designing kitchen spaces, it is important to have a functional working triangle with the correct dimensions between the sink, refrigerator, and stove/oven. It is also important to have functional finishes. Cleanability is essential in a kitchen, so selecting cabinets, countertops, and backsplashes that are durable is key. CWG designers prefer timeless kitchens to trendy ones, and we love to incorporate our client’s personalities into their kitchen spaces.
