Liz brings a fresh look to the CWG team. She has experience in land surveying and the application of Quartz in commercial counter tops. Liz was raised in Red Lodge, MT and is very excited to be back in the big sky state. When Liz is not working, she enjoys exploring Helena and revisiting places with her daughter.
Q & A with Liz Rae
What made you interested in architecture?
I enjoyed hand drafting in high school which lead me to get a drafting degree in Wyoming. I worked with land surveyors for four years before deciding that I wanted to pursue a degree to become an architect.
Favorite part of your job?
I enjoy that there is always something to learn and we are always expanding our knowledge to increase the quality of design and detailing.
Biggest challenge of your job?
When people see my job title when first working with them. They do not think I am the project manager because I am labeled as an Architect in Training.
What was your first job?
Dishwasher at my parent’s restaurant.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like to be outdoors exploring with my daughter. We like hiking, biking, swimming, and playing at the park.
